I click on a chess table, and the option is there to “Play Chess”, but when I click on “Play Chess” it does not go into the command line at the top. This happens with other things like “Pumping Iron”, and the guitar disappears when they pick it up to play.
In Sims 3, it won’t let my character do anything that will improve a skill. Help?

Probably EA gave out another crap patch like always.
You need to make sure that all of your main motivators are satisfied first ( not hungry, tired etc.). Usually thats why you can’t lvl up.
